TrackMate Features
Meet Setup
- Any number of divisions and schools can be entered in TrackMate.
- Each team can have any number of contestants.
- An unlimited number of custom event types can be entered.
- Division, school and athlete names need only be typed once. After this, you just pick the names
from a list.
- When you setup a meet, you can choose default event types for indoor and outdoor meets.
- Enter distances and heights in either English (feet/inches) or metric (meters and centimeters) units.
- TrackMate can assign athlete (bib) numbers to each contestant.
- Blank heat/entry forms are generated automatically.
- You can copy rosters to/from the Windows clipboard. This allows you to import athlete
names from a spreadsheet, text editor or word processor directly into TrackMate,
without having to type them in.
Event Setup
- Track events can have preliminary heats, semi-final heats and a final heat.
- Running events can also be run as finals only, which means that the results of the preliminary
heats determine the event winners, without either semi-finals or a final heat.
- Qualifying distances and times can be used for heating purposes, if desired.
- Preliminary and final heat and lane assignments can be made automatically.
However, if you want, you
can manually arrange heats any way you wish. A simple drag-and-drop interface makes it easy.
- By default, TrackMate assigns heats and lanes in the way most people would want. However, if you
need something different, many options are available to
tailor automatic heat and lane assignment. Also, you can override the automatic assignment and
drag-and-drop athletes into heats and lanes in any way you wish.
- If people drop out of events after heats have been assigned, you can re-heat with
the press of a single button.
Results Export
- Once the meet is complete, you can export the winners for advancement to another meet.
- You can export the winners in TrackMate format, text format, or Hy-Tek Semicolon Delimited File format.
- You have complete control over how the Hy-Tek export is performed. You can control the Hy-Tek division
code, school codes and event codes.
