When you press the Enter Results button, the window below will open.
- TrackMate automatically assigns heats and lanes when you press the Assign Heats button.
- When TrackMate is used to automatically assign lanes, it takes into account the qualifying time. Contestants
without qualifying times will be assigned randomly. However, where possible, TrackMate will
attempt to put contestants from the same school in different heats.
- TrackMate will automatically make heats as even as possible. For instance, if there are 9
contestants entered in a running event on an 8 lane track, TrackMate will generate 2 heats of
5 and 4.
- You can manually assign/modify heats as desired by pressing the Edit Heats button.
- If people drop out of an event after heats have been assigned, you can re-heat with the
press of a single button to use the minimum number of heats.
- By clicking the right mouse button on a contestant, you can switch them with another
contestant, change their name, etc.
- Once heats and lanes have been assigned, you can print out the heat sheets
by pressing the Print button.
- You can print out preliminary heat sheets

- You can print out final heat sheets
